What is the Dermotoxin?

“Dermotoxin” is a portmanteau combining the words, “dermo,” meaning “skin,” and “toxin” from “Botullinum toxin.” It is also known as meso Botox, skin Botox and elasticity Botox.

It is a procedure that differs from the conventional Botox procedures. Treatment spots are created on diverse areas of the skin layers, and it acts upon the skin while causing little to no muscle paralysis. Patients can expect to see improvement of skin elasticity and improvement in the appearance of a square jaw and fine lines.

Strengths and Effectiveness of Dermotoxin

It appears natural as it is injected into the skin layers.

It is directly injected into the skin for enhanced firming and lifting effects.

There are no side effects, as only a small amount is injected.

It is characterized by short procedure and recovery time.

Candidates for Treatment

Those who want to diminish the appearance of wrinkles in various areas (glabella, forehead, eye area, under-eye area, laugh lines and neck, etc.)

Those who are past their 20s and are experiencing markedly lower skin elasticity

Those who have an angular, large or long face

Post-procedure Care

Swelling, bruising in the injection site, and mild itchiness will disappear naturally.

Do not lie down for 4 hours after the procedure so that the drug does not spread to the surrounding muscle tissue.

You may experience a headache or vertigo after the procedure, but this is typically temporary and you’ll be fine within 2 to 3 days.

Avoid sauna, rigorous exercise and massaging the injection site for 2 to 3 days.

Those who received the procedure for a squared jaw should avoid hard and tough food.

If you experience pain or redness in the injection site for more than a day, please visit us at the clinic.
